Role
This role will lead the planning and execution of in-person initiatives, including trade shows, industry conferences, regional association meetings, and community engagements. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to create field programs that generate pipeline, reinforce brand credibility, and deepen relationships with public safety stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Event Strategy
- Develop and manage Aurelian’s annual calendar of public safety events, including state and national conferences, industry expos, and local association meetings.
- Oversee all aspects of event logistics: venue coordination, vendor management, booth production, collateral preparation, staffing, and onsite execution.
- Secure event sponsorship opportunities and speaking engagements
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to align event presence with regional priorities, customer engagement efforts, and sales pipeline goals.
Lead Generation and Campaign Support
- Design pre- and post-event content campaigns
- Ensure timely follow-up and tracking of leads through CRM systems, driving conversion into sales meetings and qualified opportunities.
- Develop standardized materials for event follow-up, such as recap summaries, educational content, and case studies.
Metrics and Reporting
- Define and report on event performance metrics, including lead volume, conversion rates, influenced pipeline, and return on investment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and retrospectives to guide continuous improvement in event strategy and execution.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of field or event marketing experience in a B2B environment, preferably in GovTech, public safety, or other highly regulated industries.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing large and small-scale events that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent events and deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and represent the company professionally.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time for in-person events and meetings across the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience marketing to law enforcement, emergency communications centers, or local government agencies.
- Familiarity with marketing and CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools.
- Ability to create or adapt collateral for field use (e.g., presentations, signage, printed materials).
